2nd Merfolk Fieldtrip of the Year: Bones

Image
Merfolk **Please make sure to sign your child's field-trip slip and return with $8.00 ASAP.** Largo Cultural Center Friday, October 20, 2017 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM **Change in Plans: We will have lunch and recess at the school, not at Largo Park** BONES Bones uses humor and music to educate audiences about the science of bones. Tied to state educational science standards, students will laugh in their seats as they learn the names of the bones, the types of cells, function of joints and necessity of bone marrow. This short, quirky show has a wide appeal. The whodunit format allows audiences of all ages to connect with the characters while unconsciously absorbing scientific information.

I seek out other ideas to solve problems. I know that "to heads are better then one." I am a better person when I let other people into my life and work.

Children learn at different paces.  Blended classes offer a wider range of curricula across 2 grade levels.  Advanced students can be more easily challenged with higher-level material; struggling students can more easily return to earlier material. Younger children gain self-confidence and maturity by being exposed to older students; older students learn to be positive, mature role models for the younger students.
